Handbags are a girls must have, I have a handbag obsession im not going to lie. No I do not go all out on luxurious, expensive handbags but it doesn't mean I havent thought about it maybe once or twice or 18 billion times. It fascinates me that handbags can get so expensive. I would never be able to justify buying even a $500 handbag, maybe someday but for now not so much. I thought it would be interesting to show you guys the top 5 most expensive purses in the world, when I saw the price tags these bags carried with them I practically threw up but, instead of getting into that scenario lets get into what the handbags are shall we?

- The Cleopatra Bag by Lana Marks retails at $250,000:

The bag is made from alligator skin, which is colored in a silver finish. The clasp of the handbag is fashioned with 18 carat white gold, on which 1,500 diamonds of black and white colors are embedded.

-Chanel "Diamond Forever" Classic Handbag retails at $261,000:

Designed from pure and excellent quality alligator skins. Clasps are studded with 334 diamonds weighing at a good 3.56 carats in the C-logo shape of Chanel. The clasp and long shoulder straps are fashioned from 18 carat white gold.

-Purse designed by Ginza Tanaka retails at $1.9 million:

Bag is made from Platinum and is decorated with 2,000 diamonds that weigh about 208 carats. The strap can be worn as a necklace and the 8 carat pear diamond cluster in front of the purse can be worn as a brooch.

This creation took Pierre 2 years to design and develop. Made from original crocodile leather. The handles are designed like a bracelet and made from gold and encrusted with diamonds.

-1001 Nights Diamond Purse retails at $3.58 million:

Handcrafted with 18 carat gold and studded with 4,517 diamonds. The purse is heart shaped and out of 4.517 diamonds there are 4,356 colorless, 105 yellow and 56 pink diamonds arranged in an extremely artistic pattern. The diamonds weigh 381.92 carats, and required 8,800 man hours to create.
