Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
10:34 AM
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh I finally was able to get ahold of the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette at my local Sephora. Not even joking but I actually treated up a bit while checking out just because I was so excited to finally get my hands on it because it's been such a bummer waiting for stock to replenish and of course by the time I arrived to Sephora they would be sold out again. I finally have it now of course after everyone shared their reviews because I'm the last one to get ahold of anything lol, but I thought I would share with you my thoughts about this palette.
First of all, the packaging is adorable with its embossed design and gorgeous Naked 3 font, it still has the same type of tin or aluminum packaging as the Naked 2 but I do feel like Urban Decay may have tweaked just the slightest bit and by that I mean that when you go to close the palette, the snaps kinda don't align as evenly as the Naked 2 so sometimes I find that I have to use two hands rather than one to close it but that's not a huge issue for me personally. Another thing I feel like this packaging is a bit more lighter than the Naked 2 which makes it perfect for traveling.
This palette features 12 full size, pink/rose hued eyeshadow shades that are all brand new shades to the line so you won't find any dupes in this palette as apposed to the first naked palette and Naked 2 do have some similar shades. All eyeshadows are of course almost creamy feeling to the touch as many of Urban decay shadows are, and each shadow is highly pigmented.
I have fairly light skin, and the colors work great for my skin tone and my brown eyes. I really do feel that this palette can be used on all skin tones whether your pale or dark. My favorite shades out of the bunch are Limit, Nooner, Darkside, and Blackheart. I have been wearing all four shades every day and have gotten compliments nonstop.i will be sure to post a picture of the look for you all to see and please feel free to comment if you would like to see a tutorial.
The Naked 3 retails for $52 at Sephora and Ulta. Along with palette comes sample sizes of all four of urban decays primer potions with each one lasting a weeks worth of product. The palette also comes with the Urban Decay dual sided eyeshadow brush, one side being a flat shader brush and the other bing a fluffy dome brush. The brush works great and is incredibly soft.
I absolutely love this palette and I believe a lot of you will too, that is if you haven't tried it yet of course. Please don't hesitate to leave a comment letting me know if you have or are planning to get this palette and what you are loving about it. Also if you have any looks using this palette I would love to see pictures.
