Shaving Alternatives

6:00 AM

Have you ever gotten in the shower and go to shave your legs or whatever else you shave and realize you forgot to get shaving cream while you were out running errands, or just didn't feel like going out to go pick some up at your local drugstore? Well today's post is going to focus on other products that can potentially help replace your shaving gel or cream in the meantime.

Shampoo and Conditioner: Shampoo can clean your skin efficiently and remove any pollutants from it. Conditioner may be an even better solution though since it helps in softening your hair.

Using Soap: Glycerin soap is a great alternative because its creamier than regular soap and even the cheap disposable razors work great with this.

Baby Oil: baby oil is an awesome way to prevent cuts and irritations. Baby oil is also free of chemicals that could potentially upset your skin. The only downside to using baby oil is that razors don't glide on the skin as easily.

Sweet Almond, Olive and Apricot Oil: all are great emollients, sweet almond oil lubricates your skin as well as olive and apricot oil.

Shea Butter: Shea butter acts like a good after shave balm.

As you can see there are many different products you can use as a shaving alternative. Whenever I run out I use my dove body wash because it lathers very well and prevents my legs from becoming dry. If you have another product you would like to share that works great as a replacement to shave cream be sure to leave that in the comments. I hope you all liked this post. Have a great day everyone!
