The Benefits of Drinking Tea

6:00 AM

I've been really getting into Woman's World Magazine lately and in the most recent issue I've bought they featured a spread on the benefits of drinking different kinds of tea. I, myself am not a tea drinker but after reading the awesome benefits that tea has I might become a tea drinker. I figure I would share with you the two kinds of tea that caught my attention the most and why, because they are related to beauty.

- Oolong Tea melts fat: This type of tea activates a fat-burning enzyme, which also helps balance blood sugar, preventing cravings. Asian studies show sipping just one cup daily can help shed as much as one pound per week.

- White Tea prevents wrinkles: Contains three times more antioxidants than even green tea. White Tea neutralizes two enzymes that otherwise would break down support structures under your skin, causing sagging and wrinkles. Studies also show that white tea extract reduces inflammation and even protects against harmful UV rays.

I had no idea the benefits these teas can give to someone but not being a tea drinker myself, I guess that's expected. Let me know if you guys know of any other tea that gives beauty benefits in the comments below. As always I hope you guys enjoyed this post and have a Beautiful Day!!!

  3. I have always drank tea because I love drinking tea. I just think of the benefits as an added bonus. But now that I know that white tea has more positive effects than a green tea base, I might consider switching to a white tea base. If I could find one, that is.
